Unique Hermitage Quartet

I heard a unique concert in the Hermitage. A quartet sang the old Russian folk song “Hey-Ho!” The feeling and deep emotion transcended language barriers. I bought the Cd in the Hermitage gift shop. The songs include: Black Eyes, the Kossack’s song and others. One does not need to know Russian to understand a nation’s feelings. Each member of the quartet sounded like a Luciano Pavarotti. The CD is called “Russian Traditional Songs” by the Creative Union “Slavia”, email: asnytko@bk.ru.
