Dr. Isaak is an international scholar I became acquainted this past year and a half in zoom education programs of the Greek Teachers Association “Prometheus”. I was impressed with his factual, down to the point approach to teaching Greek language and culture. His command of the English language is excellent.
Dr Isaak Papadopoulos is a lecturer at the UNICAF University. He was interviewed on the show “About Education”. He talked about his family and his career, His focus was on the need for promoting Greek language education and culture in Greece and abroad. He discussed his new book “From Translanguaging pedagogy to classroom pedagogy”. Dr. Papadopoulos explained his research collaborations in Greece, Cyprus and more recently in America. The show had included: photos of Dr. Papadopoulos” participation in the 2020-2021 seminars offered by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and the Greek Teachers Association “Prometheus”. He was praised on the show for his latest achievement of being selected to the Scientific Committee of the International Applied Linguistics and Teaching Young Learners program. He was also invited to offer lectures to Preschool Teachers on “Translanguaging and Early language learning”.
Dr. Isaak Papadopoulos is an effective, rising scholar in his field. He and his wife Varvara, an educator, have two children, a daughter Despoina-Chrysovalanto and a son Michael. The scholar is employed at Center of Greek Education in Greece and the University in Cyprus. Zoom seminars bring his outstanding work to educators internationally.
